Marion Paula Dutruch Fauntleroy

June 17, 1943 — February 27, 2026

Marion (Paula) Dutruch Fauntleroy passed away in her home on Friday, February 27, 2026 at the age of 82 years old. Paula was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana on June 17, 1943 to Ola and Louis Dutruch Jr. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Jim Fauntleroy, her parents Ola and Louis Dutruch Jr., and her brother Alvin (Sonny) Dutruch.

Paula was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She leaves behind her children, Brent Fauntleroy (Kalinda) and Janene Bulloch (Wilson). Her 5 grandchildren, LeEllen Candies (Jon), Sara Overmier (Zeb), Cole Fauntleroy (Shayna), Brody Bulloch (Brianna), and Grace Bulloch; 7 great-grandchildren, James and Raegan Fauntleroy, Ezra, Nora, and Lyla Overmier, Evelyn Candies, Bellamy Bulloch; two great-grandchildren on the way, and her brother Kenneth Dutruch (Judy)

She retired from St. Tammany Parish School System after 20 years of dedicated service to stay home and keep her grandchildren. She loved to cook, help on the farm, take trips to the beach, and spend time with her family. 

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Sunday, March 8, 2026 02:00PM at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery, 20116 LA-1081, Covington, Louisiana 70435.

In lieu of flowers, a gift may be made to the New Zion Church Lunch Ministry.
