Eunice Faye Byrd Sheridan
July 25, 1939 - February 19, 2026
Eunice Faye Sheridan, age 86, was born in Pine, LA, passed away at her residence in Bogalusa, LA on February 19, 2026. Faye was a member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church. She worked in the Banking Industry for a number of years at 1st State Bank, Washington Bank and Hancock Bank before retiring.
Faye is survived by 3 daughters; Sandra Sheridan of Bogalusa, LA, Sharon (Ken) Butts of Cullman, AL, and Carol (Mickey) Fortenberry of Bogalusa, LA; grandchildren Amy Williams, Ana Moore, Russ (Addie) Butts, Ryan (Megan) Butts, Laken (James) Sheridan, Ryan Fortenberry, Dustin (Tiffany) Fortenberry, and Josh Fortenberry; great-grandchildren Brody Williams, Addy Williams, Cainen Magee, Paxton Fortenberry, Jaxson Fortenberry, Chloe Clavier, Gene Butts, John Butts, Remi Butts, and Jonah Butts, a great great-grandchild Brooklyn.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Glen Sheridan, her mother and father; Elder Huey and Lavada Byrd, brothers; Howard, Ellis, B.J. and George Byrd; sisters Willie Mae Bennett and Rachel Vinning.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10:00a.m. until the service time of 2:00p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home. Bro. Tommy Hudnall, Grayson Ball, and Bro. Doyle Ball will officiate the service. Interment will be held at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brody Williams, Dustin Fortenberry, Josh Fortenberry, Cainen Magee, Paxton Fortenberry, and Ryan Fortenberry. Honorary pallbearers will be Russ Butts, and Ryan Butts.
