Kellie Wempren, a resident of Bogalusa, LA, was born on December 5, 1985, passed away at her residence in Bogalusa, LA on January 20, 2026 at 40 years of age.
Kellie had a good heart and was willing to help anyone. She had a special gift for arts and crafts and enjoyed redoing furniture. Her dogs, Maggie and Abby have a special place in her heart, but her biggest joy was her grandchild Tate Vince.
Kellie is survived by her husband Brent Wempren; daughter Ashlyn Brown, (Jace Vince); son Austin Joseph Wempren; parents Ronnie Brown and Charmaine Gibson Brown; sister Amber Brown (Jason) Silessi; a grandchild Tate Allen Vince; a niece Francis “Effie” Silessi; and her favorite uncle Don Brown.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 12:00noon until the memorial service time of 2:00p.m. at Superior Ave Baptist Church. The Rev. Clay Norwood will officiate.
Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
