Reilly Stephen Berger

February 8, 2007 - January 18, 2026

Reilly Stephen Berger, age 18 and a resident of Piedmont, South Carolina passed away Sunday night January 18, 2026. He was born in Zachary, Louisiana on February 8, 2007. Reilly enjoyed playing youth sports, including baseball, before settling into wrestling for his local club team. He was a Class of 2025 graduate of Woodmont High School, where he was a proud member of the Wildcats wrestling team, and participated in many tournaments and state matches. Reilly enjoyed archery and loved hanging out with his friends. He loved the classic rock band Queen and often imitated the lead singer Freddie Mercury to make others laugh. Reilly could play the guitar and he also sang many of his favorite songs. He had a smile that warmed other’s hearts, and that will never be forgotten. Reilly had a special place in his heart for his pet dog Finley. He will be forever missed by his family, friends, teammates and all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by fathers Jeremy Gatewood, Shane Berger, his great-grandparents and other family members.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton, LA) on Saturday January 24th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Saturday with Bro. Trey Jenkins officiating, Burial will follow in the Faith Tabernacle Church Cemetery.
