Vivian Janice Morgan Robertson
February 26, 1942 - December 19, 2025
Vivian Janice Morgan Robertson, age 83 and a resident of the Canaan Community, passed away Friday morning December 19, 2025. She was a member of both Bethel Baptist Church and also later a member of Canaan Baptist Church near Stoney Point. Janice was born and lived in Franklinton her whole life. She attended Franklinton High School and was in the class of 1960. She worked at several businesses over the years in Franklinton including the former Judge Francis “Budge” Watts III, WST Electric, and for the State of Louisiana OCS Department. One of her biggest passions was food. She loved to cook food for others, especially those at church and neighbors. She also enjoyed trying new restaurants and new foods. Her biggest passion was obviously spending time with her family, grandkids, great grandkids and friends. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survived by: Son and daughter-in-law: Jerry and Rhonda Robertson of Ruston, LA; Grandkids: Morgan Sehon and Husband Miles of Ruston, LA.
Andrew Robertson and wife Taylor of Seabrook, TX; Great Grandkids: Preslie Drysdale, Ezra and Isaiah Sehon of Ruston, LA; Several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death recently by her husband of 62 years Robert “Bob” Robertson, Jr. father Carol N. Morgan, mother Beullah Varnado Morgan and brother Carol Devon Morgan all of Franklinton and other family members.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Sunday December 21st from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 10:00 am on Monday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Monday with Rev. Stan Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery.
