The Slidell Police Department reported Friday (November 14, 2025) that SPD responded to a hit and run accident on Brownswitch Road. The suspect(s) vehicle, a grey SUV, fled the scene but flipped as they were trying to escape on Interstate 12.
The flipped vehicle was occupied by four (4) men, who were uninjured during the crash. As the smoke settled, they were seen fleeing down the road…BUT not before grabbing their ice chest full of beer …dropping several cans along the way. With the assistance of the Drone Team and the STPSO, the four were located hiding in some nearby woods.
The subjects are now facing a slew of charges, and could also be subject to deportation, as they are in the United States illegally. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been notified.
No further information was released in the report.
