October 26, 2025 UPDATE from the WPSO: The child has been located and is safe and the suspect is now in custody. Thank you to the public, Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office, St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office and the Louisiana State Police for assisting us in locating the child and suspect.

The Washington Parish Sheriff's Office has issued a BOLO (Be on the lookout) for Joshua Beall, a 45-year-old, white male with brown hair and brown eyes and his son, Noah Beall, a 6-year-old white male with blond hair and blue eyes.
Last night (October 25, 2025) at 9:53 p.m., WPSO dispatch received a call stating Joshua Beall used a hunting knife to injure his wife and fled the scene (on Highway 38, Franklinton) in a 2000 gold Ford Ranger with the license plate: Y464010.
His son, Noah, is believed to be with him and law enforcement is concerned about his welfare.
Joshua is currently wanted on counts of home invasion and aggravated 2nd degree battery of a dating partner.
