Carson Andrew Rainey

July 16, 2012 - October 10, 2025

Carson Andrew Rainey, age 13 and of Bogalusa, LA, was born on July 16, 2012, in Covington, LA, and passed from this life on October 10, 2025. Carson brought boundless joy, laughter, and light to everyone who knew him. He had a big heart and an adventurous spirit. He loved spending his days outdoors—riding four-wheelers and dirt bikes, exploring with friends, or helping his Pawpaw work on cars and trucks.

Curious and kind, Carson was always eager to lend a hand, especially if it meant learning something new. He was a proud part of Bogalusa First Church, where he spent time in First Kids and ESM, worshipping Jesus and making memories with those around him. Carson’s smile could brighten any day, and his energy and laughter will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Jodie Rainey; brother Eli Ledoux; Nan, Sheila Rainey; uncles, Christopher Adkins and Daniel Adkins; great-grandmother, Louise Schneck; grandfather, Reggie Griffith; uncles, Jimmy Griffith and Chad Griffith; aunt, Alysia Moore; grandparents, David and Cindy Jardine; and a large circle of family and friends who will forever cherish his memory. Carson was preceded in death by his grandmother, April Galey.

A celebration of Carson’s life will be held on October 18, 2025, at Bogalusa First Church Student Center, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by the service. Carson’s time with us was far too short, but the love, joy, and memories he shared will remain in our hearts forever.
