Brenda Gayle Moore, age 78, passed away in Petal, MS, October 4, 2025. Ms. Brenda grew up in Bogalusa, where she graduated from Bogalusa High School. After entering the workforce, she explored numerous different fields, including an ammunition plant, a welder at Ingalls, the local papermill, Shell Oil refineries, and then became a personal care assistant. She is survived by two daughters: Denise Robin and Kim Lamparski; one sister: Linda Grant; three granddaughters: April Villani, Suzette Penton, and Brittany Whaley; one grandson: John Lamparski, Jr.; a daughter-in-law: Suzanne Penton; ten great-grandchildren: Ray-Ray, Austin Cooper, Kaden Carden, Drake Doyle, JJ Lamparski III, Christian Whaley, Jordan Doyle, Gabe Rodrigue, Jaxton Carden, Lil Kirk Martineau III; two nieces: Sharron Ishee and Michelle Pomes; one great-nephew: Ashton Grant; and many other family and friends.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents: James Rester and Virgie Cooper Rester; two sons: Steven Stewart and Johnny Penton; one sister: Dorothy Whittington; a granddaughter: Ashley Carden; a son-in-law: Raymond Robin; two nieces: Rita Barrone and Bonnie Cooper; a great-nephew: Baby Walter; and a fiancé: Shelby Talley.
Public Viewing will be on October 14, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 PM at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa.
