Jashon Trene Johnson-Ezell
November 10, 1975 - September 30, 2025
Jashon Trene Johnson-Ezell, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, peacefully departed this life on September 30, 2025, at the age of 49. She was born and raised in Bogalusa, Louisiana, on November 10, 1975, to Freddie Straughter (Calvin Straughter) and the late Charles Ray Johnson.
Jashon was a woman of strength, compassion, and grace. She was known for her warm heart, beautiful smile, and the way she could light up any room she entered. Her love for family and friends was the center of her world, and she was always ready to lend a helping hand or a comforting word.
She was united in marriage to Levern Ezell, and together they shared a bond built on love and devotion.
A proud graduate of Bogalusa High School, Class of 1995, Jashon carried her school spirit and friendships with her throughout her life.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory of her three loving daughters: Jaderrica Johnson, Jacynthia Bickham, and Jaisis Bickham; and treasured grandchildren: Nashira Winston, Nicholas Winston, Aariyah Lowe, and Josiah Johnson, who brought her endless joy and laughter. Jashon is also survived by her devoted sisters; Tameca Johnson and Khamika Sowell; her adored nieces; Clariona Foxworth, Arnasiyah Fortenberry, and Markayla Mark; her nephews: Kendaven, Keniyrien, Kenmorie Pigott,her dear friends: Nikki May (step sister), Jemeka Roberts Johnson, Katrina Berry, and Nicole Magee; and her loving aunts and uncles: Annie Sanders, Kenneth Sanders, Otis (Penni) Sanders, Charlie Ray Warren, Rose Adams, Diana Bell, and Barbara Felice; along with a host of extended family members and friends who will deeoly miss her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Ray Johnson, and sister, Andreia Nelson; grandparents, Walter (Dollie) Sanders and Joe(Oral Lee) Johnson.
Jashon's memory will live forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her strength, laughter, and love will continue to shine through her children, grandchildren, and everyone whose lives she touched.
Services will be on October 11, 2025 at Cook-Richmond & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.
