TPSO Investigating Drive-By Shooting in Natalbany Area

Update at 2:38 PM on August 28, 2025: Following tips from the public, the individual in the picture has been located. At this time, he has been eliminated as an involved suspect in this case. However, the investigation is active and ongoing with detectives still trying to locate the suspect vehicle.

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) needs the public’s help gathering information about the whereabouts of a suspect vehicle and the identities of the occupants of that vehicle, involved in a drive-by shooting incident in the Natalbany area at around 7 p.m. on Tuesday (August 26, 2025) .A s two men were pulling into the driveway of a home on Dead End Street off of LA 1064, dozens of shots were fired in their direction. No one was injured, but it was determined that the vehicle they were in and the home they were in front of were struck.

Deputies have determined the shots were fired from a blue, 4-door Volvo bearing Mississippi license plate “PRH 1763”. The vehicle was seen on surveillance video at the gas station on the corner of LA 51 and LA 1064 just before the shooting. One person of interest is seen in the attached picture, wearing a blue T-shirt with a white unidentified logo on the left chest, exited the rear driver’s side door to buy gas.
