Carla Remington Altenbach
March 25, 1956 - September 2, 2025
Carla Remington Altenbach, age 69, passed away September 2, 2025 at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Mrs. Carla was a member of Union Heritage Church and a long-time citizen of Bogalusa. In her free time, she was passionate about reading, crafts, and collecting snail items.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years: Mr. Jon Altenbach; two sons: Nathaniel “Sam” Remington and Jeffery Remington (Brittany); one daughter: Melissa Smith; four grandchildren: Michael Eddins, Skylar Remington, Justin Remington, and Christian Remington; and two sisters: Ann Smith (Mike) and Kathy Remington.
Mrs. Carla was preceded in death by her parents: Melvin and Frieda Remington; an uncle: Ray Corkern; and one aunt and her husband: Wilda and Hayward Miley.
Brown-McGehee was entrusted with final arrangements which are incomplete at this time.
