John M. Walle

Mr. John Walle, age 72, passed away at his home September 21, 2025, in Mount Hermon. Mr. Walle
was born in New Orleans, LA, but had been a resident of Washington Parish for the past 24 years. From the time he was 16 until his retirement, he worked as a plumber and became affectionately known as the “Plumbing Legend”. When he wasn’t working, he found joy in hunting, caring for his property, and cheering his New Orleans Saints on, as a beloved life-long fan.
He is survived by his beloved and dedicated wife of 54 years, Cindy Behrens; one son: Duane Walle (Jennifer); a daughter: Melissa Andrus (Kenny); five grandchildren: Jessica, Sky, Briana, Brooke, and E.J.; three great-grandchildren: Cambrian, Ryleigh-Faith, and Kody; four sisters: Linda Keller (Dennis), Carol Herbert (Murphy), Joyce Blanchard (Richard), and Pat Gibson (Allen); and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Mr. Walle was preceded in death by his parents: Alphonse and Idel Walle; and two brothers: Joseph Walle and Charles Walle.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements. A celebration of life will be announced by the family.
