Slidell Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 18-year-old Justin Lebouef, who led officers on a vehicle pursuit this past Saturday (August 30, 2025) night.
Officers were clearing out a large group of loitering vehicles in a local parking lot when one driver reportedly drew attention to himself by operating the vehicle recklessly, nearly causing several wrecks, and speeding away. When officers attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle fled, sparking a lengthy pursuit throughout the city and eventually onto the Southshore.
During the chase, the suspect’s vehicle lost a tire and crashed into the woods along I-10 near Irish Bayou. Lebouef then fled on foot into the woods and was unable to be located. Officers believe he may have been picked up by another individual.
Lebouef is wanted on multiple active warrants stemming from the vehicle pursuit. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please contact the Slidell Police Department at 985-643-3131 or your local law enforcement agency. Tips can remain anonymous.
