James Hart, age 37 and a Slidell resident, was arrested on July 24, 2025 by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriffs’ Office last month and cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine were seized as part of an investigation. Detectives with the STPSO Narcotics Division, members of the STPSO Proactive Enforcement Unit, officers with the Slidell Police Department, and agents with Homeland Security Investigations conducted an investigation at a residence in the 3000 block of Terrace Avenue in Slidell.
The investigation led to the felony arrest of Hart and the seizure of cocaine, fentanyl, marijuana and approximately 2 pounds of methamphetamine.
Hart was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center on the charges of Attempted Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule II CDS- methamphetamine, Possession of Schedule II CDS - methamphetamine, Possession of Schedule II CDS - cocaine, Possession of Schedule II CDS - fentanyl, Possession of Schedule I CDS - marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.***All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty***
