Judy Faye Sandifer Lewis

October 18, 1961 - June 1, 2025

Judy Faye Sandifer Lewis, passed away June 1, 2025, in Baton Rouge, LA at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. She was raised in Pine, LA, but had lived in the Varnado community for several years. Judy was the type of person who lit up the room with her smile alone. She was a devoted mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. Family and friends meant the most to her. All who knew her, will mourn her passing, but she would want you to celebrate the abundant life she lived.

Judy is survived by two children: Kristina "Kristy" Lewis Rivers with her husband, Jewel Rivers, and James Lewis; one son by love: Dewayne Foster and his wife, April Foster; several grandchildren: Paytrin Rivers, Melia Rivers, Hayzen Rivers, Victoria Lewis, Kaylie Lewis, E.J. Lewis, and Zander Foster; six great-grandchildren; four siblings: DiAnn Sandifer, Mary Ridgedell, JoAnn Sandifer, and Paul Sandifer and countless nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Arnie and Janice Sandifer; a sister: Jean Hessler; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Brown-McGehee proudly serves Ms. Judy Lewis' family. Visitation will take place in the funeral home chapel Monday, June 9, 2025, starting at 2PM until time of service 4PM. Interment will immediately follow at Muster Ground Cemetery.
