Charity Faye Holmes

October 15, 2025 – June 7, 2025

Charity Faye Holmes, 47 of Tylertown, MS passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025 at her residence. Mrs. Holmes was born October 15, 1977 in Tylertown, MS. The daughter of James and Cynthia O’Bryant, Patricia and Ray Phelps and the late J. W. Jones. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 3:00 PM until funeral service at 5:00 PM at New Beginning Baptist Church, 52224 Hwy 424, Franklinton, LA. Burial will follow in New Beginning Cemetery. Bro. Keith Branch will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 

She was preceded in death by her angel baby Harley and her nephew Payen O’Bryant, also her nephew Thomas Welch IV; grandfather, Ernest Junior Smith and T. C. O’Bryant; special grandmothers, Carol O`Bryant and Ruby Lee Smith; and father J W Jones.

Mrs. Holmes was a housewife that greatly loved her husband Daniel Holmes and all of her nieces and nephews. Including her great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by father, James O`Bryant, Sr. (Cynthia); mother, Patricia Ann Smith Phelps (Ray); brothers, James O`Bryant, Jr (Crystal) and Brian Lott (Ladett); sisters, Brandy Hancock (Dustin), Ruthie Welch (Thomas) and Nickie Enlow (Bobby); special cousin Susan Spears (Cody) along with her children Bryce and Rylie Smith.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Enlow, James O`Bryant Jr., Matthias Farr, Danny Allen Smith, Corin Weisbrodt, and Thomas Welch III. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Bryce Smith, Caden Enlow, Denford Smith, Tom O`Bryant, and Braiden Smith.
