Alexander Mischler, age 30 and of Angie, Louisiana, was arrested on June 9, 2025 and is currently charged with two counts of 1st degree rape-victim under age 13, and one count of oral sexual battery-victim under age 13. He is being held at the Washington Parish Jail on a $500,000.00 bond.
On June 7, 2025, the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office received a phone call complaint referencing the alleged sexual abuse of a 5-year-old victim. After making contact, the victim was sent to Manning’s Family Children’s Hospital, where a sexual assault exam was performed. Afterwards, a forensic interview with the victim was conducted at the Child Advocacy Center House, and investigators obtained a warrant for Mischler’s arrest based on the evidence obtained. A search warrant was also issued for the residence where the assault allegedly occurred.
On June 9, 2025, Deputy Sheriffs and Officers from the Varnado Police Department executed both warrants at the Angie residence. Mischler initially refused to come to the door, but was eventually taken into custody without incident. Due to Mischler’s proximity to other children, the investigation continued after his arrest.
On June 12, 2025, another forensic interview with a separate victim, aged 8, was conducted, and evidence was gathered that led to Mischler facing further charges.

This brought tears to my eyes and chills down my spine. How anyone could do anything like this to a child, a baby. I have no children, but it breaks my heart when I hear of these horrific stories. I was also done this way as a little girl and I have had a life filled with flashbacks of encounter. It has caused me many difficulties from physical, emotional and psychological.
