SPD commented, "What makes Slidell a safe place to live? ➡️The fact that in less than five minutes of committing a horrific crime, your Slidell PD had an attempted murder suspect in custody. That’s the difference. A fast response time and an unwavering commitment to quickly apprehend criminals. We don’t play. Commit a crime in our community…we will come out of the woodwork to catch you. A fully staffed department enables us to have the manpower to accomplish this. Rest easy knowing that we are here for you, 24/7, rain or shine, hot or cold…it doesn’t matter. When you need us, we will be there."
