Mrs. Frankie Joyce Thomas Nichols, age 82 and of Bogalusa, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
A dedicated wife and homemaker, she was born Tuesday, April 6,1943 in Washington Parish, Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Vivian Thomas; brother, Elton Thomas; and grandparents, Ephriam and Meacy Thomas, Frank and Tennie Ramsey.
Mrs. Nichols is survived by her husband of 54 years, Benjamin E. Nichols; four sons, Joseph (Eva Jean) Nichols of Warner Robbins, GA, James (Donna) Nichols of Fairhope, AL, John (Laura) Nichols of Warner Robbins, GA, Monty (Amanda) Nichols of Daphne, AL; siblings, Linda Gayle Walker, Betty Sue Fontenot, Gary Thomas; and, sister-in-law, Violeta Thomas; twelve grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Hillview Memorial Gardens, 59302 Spring Valley Road, Bogalusa, LA 70427 on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 10:00 am. Rev. Larry Mizell will officiate the service.
Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home & Crematory in Bogalusa is in charge of arrangements.
