William Adriel Brown

August 28, 1948 - February 12, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of William Adriel Brown on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. William's memory will be cherished by his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Delores Williams, of Rochester, New York; his sisters, Anita Brown and Paulette Brown, both of Bogalusa, Louisiana; his sister, Jeanette James, also of Bogalusa, Louisiana; and his brother, Jerry Brown of Bogalusa, Louisiana. He leaves behind a legacy of love, deeply felt by his grandchildren, Lynell, Leroy, and Lovell Williams, and Antoinette Gibson, all of Rochester, New York, and his great-grandchildren, Jewel, Bristol, Kinsley, and Zian, also of Rochester, New York. He is also survived by nieces Dionne James of New Orleans, Louisiana; Bobbie Jean Rapp of Galveston, Texas; and nephews Christopher Lamar Pritchett, Curtis Brown, Tyrese Brown, and Chazmond James, all of Bogalusa, Louisiana; and Antonio Brown of New Orleans, Louisiana. His step-sons, Charles and Michael Stewart of New Orleans, Louisiana, also mourn his loss. His cousin, Lynn Nicholson of Bogalusa, Louisiana, and his long-time companion, Brenda Stewart of New Orleans, Louisiana, will also hold his memory dear. He was blessed with a large and loving extended family and many friends.

William was predeceased by his parents, Delester Autman Brown and Robert Brown; his grandmother, Hester Sam; and his brothers, Robert Earl Brown, Charles Anthony Johnson, David Jerome Brown, Antonio Brown, Dominique Adriel Brown, and Antoine Brown.
