Marvin Lynn McCloud

March 21, 1954 - January 30, 2025

We bid farewell to Marvin Lynn McCloud, who departed from this world on January 30th, 2025, at the age of 70.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jewel McCloud, and his father, Clarence McCloud.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie McCloud, and children Kaitlyn McCloud, Kelly and Brent Spencer, Emily and J.R. McNabb, along with four granddaughters Riley, Lily, Molly, & Luna; and his siblings Mark Mccloud, and Tina & Roger Powell.

Lynn was a pillar of strength and a beacon of love, his absence leaves a void in our hearts. He was an avid history lover, a Saints fan, and a wonderful human. He loved his work and probably would have preferred to be buried at his desk if that was an option. Lynn was honest and straightforward, you knew exactly where you stood with him. He loved his family and we loved him very much.

To commemorate his remarkable life and the memories we cherish, a service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Bogalusa on Saturday, February 15th, at 10 am. We welcome all who knew him to join us in celebrating the life of a man who was loved deeply and will be missed. 

We invite contributions to The World War II Museum in lieu of flowers.
