Nicky Duncan
January 22, 1962 - January 31, 2025
Nicky Duncan, age 63 and a resident of Bogue Chitto Heights in Franklinton, passed away early Friday morning January 31, 2025. He was born in Bogalusa on January 22, 1962 and worked as a welder in his younger years. More recently, Nicky worked as a painter with different crews in the area. He served his community and country in the Louisiana Army-National Guard for several years. He always loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and listening to his favorite music. Nicky also enjoyed fishing in nearby creeks, ponds and rivers and he took many weekend trips into Mississippi to find the perfect spot. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Survived by: Son: Nicky Lee Emmons; Daughter: Melinda Fitzmorris; 2 Grandchildren: Jarrett Stafford and Dillon Stafford; Sister and Brother in law: Maria and Darrel Echols; Brothers: Bruce Jenkins, Jimmy Ray Duncan; Also numerous nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his son Ricky Emmons, parents Jimmy Duncan and Jessie Jenkins Duncan, a brother Lane Duncan and other family members.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday February 4th in the Duncan Cemetery on Tom Warner Road in Walthal County with Eld. Lavon Taylor officiating.
