Thomas Eugene Sapp
August 13, 1971 - November 22, 2024
Thomas Eugene Sapp was born on August 13, 1971, and fifty-three short years later on November 22, 2024, he was called back home. Thomas was raised in Venice, La, but was a resident of Bogalusa, La. Thomas had a successful career of working on shrimp boats and being an offshore rigger. He was a very loving and caring family man who was always doing anything within his power to help his family. Thomas was a true definition of a man that would "give you the shirt off his back".
Thomas had many hobbies he loved doing with his family. Anyone that knew Thomas, knew if it didn't have some type of potential danger to it, it was not worth his time. So it should be no surprise to know his top favorite hobbies included off-roading on four wheelers and ATVs and race cars. We all know if Thomas is known for one thing, it is his long walks. He could never be in one place too long.
Thomas is survived by his daughter: Ariann Rouse; one grandson: Kyler Rouse, a sister: Kathy (Eddie) Blackmon; three brothers: James (Judy) Sapp, Ricky (Maci) Raby, and Tony Raby; a best friend whom he loved very much: Connie Lauderdale; eight nephews; three nieces; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father: JD Sapp; his mother: Ora Faye (Bill) Raby; one sister: LouWanna Sapp; and a brother: Christopher Gunter.
The family would like to extend the warmest of thanks to Yellow Brick House restaurant and Arata & Arata Law Firm for their love and support during this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations to be made to Brown-McGehee Funeral Home to cover the funeral expenses.
Services will be on December 4, 2024 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Public Viewing will be from 4:00 PM until the Funeral Service at 7:00 PM.
