Jessie B. "Buddy" Graves
September 17, 1939 - December 20, 2024
Jessie B. "Buddy" Graves, age 85 and a resident of the Hays Creek Community, passed away Friday night December 20, 2024 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Buddy was retired after a long career as a milk truck driver for several different companies through the years. He loved going to the dairy farms all over the area each day and visiting with the men and the families he served. He also worked off-shore for a time but returned to truck driving before retiring. Buddy never met a stranger and there wasn’t anyone he could not strike up a conversation with. He enjoyed fishing and feeding the wild animals that visited his property. Buddy’s favorite pastime was watching the different wrestling TV shows each and every night, even adjusting his going out schedule to make sure he was home in time. He was member of Hays Creek Southern Baptist Church and he always loved spending time with his grandchildren.
