Carla Tarrell Simmons was born on October 22, 1967, to Donna Oliver and Richard Simmons Sr. She passed away August 27, 2024.
Carla leaves to cherish her memories; one daughter, Juana Simmons of McComb. MS., three sons, Juan (Erica) Simmons, Sr. of Tylertown, MS, Ryan Simmons of Franklinton, LA, Nathaniel Warren of Dallas, TX; two sisters and three brothers, Barbara Conerly, Richard Simmons, Jr. both of Franklinton, LA, Tammy Simmons, Shadrick Simmons, Sr. both of Houston, TX. And Shadrick Conerly of Arizona; ten grandkids, two bonus sisters, Cynthia Bell and Emerlyn Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Carla was preceded in death by her father, Richard Simmons, Sr.; daughter, Ladonna Simmons and granddaughter, Da’kyia Simmons.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 9:00AM- 11:00AM at Faith in The Word Ministries with a funeral Service beginning at 11:00AM with Rev. Jacob Tate, Jr.- Pastor Officiating.
Crain and Sons Funeral Home Franklinton, LA are in charge of arrangements.
