Norma L. Brumfield

May 29, 1944 - August 30, 2024

Norma L. Brumfield passed away peacefully on August 30, 2024 at Good Samaritan Living Center in Franklinton, LA.

Norma was born on May 29, 1944 in Clifton, LA to the late John Wesley Magee, Sr. and Angie Mae Magee. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She was united in marriage to the late Cedric Brumfield. To this union six children were born: Lori Weary, Lawrence Brumfield, Angela Mills, Tondra Tate, Christopher (Elesha) Brumfield, Toney (Stephanie) Brumfield, David Scott (Debra) Barnes, who was lovingly raised by Norma after the passing of her beloved sister, Vinie Barnes; she also leaves to cherish her memory 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley Magee, Sr. and Angie Mae Magee; her husband, Cedric Brumfield; three brothers, John Earl Magee, John David Magee, and John Wesley Magee, Jr.; and five sisters, Lavon Crain, Ruthie Hewitt, Willie Mage Johnson, Vinie Barnes, and Francis Robinson; Lori Weary and David Scott Barnes.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 9:00AM - 11:00AM followed by funeral service at Crain and Sons Funeral Home 2000 Washington Street, Franklinton, LA with Rev. Norman Robinson - Officiating. The interment will be held at Winan Cemetery.
