William Carl "Bill" Nichols

William Carl "Bill" Nichols, age 78 and a resident of Franklinton, Louisiana, passed away Sunday morning September 22, 2024 at his home following a lengthy illness. He was a native of Monroe. LA and had lived in Washington Parish for over 40 years. Bill was retired after a long career as a heavy equipment operator at the Valero Refinery in Geismar, LA. He spent much of his retirement relaxing on his front porch and watching his favorite Old Western TV shows and movies. Earlier in life, Bill always enjoyed hunting and he liked to spend time with his family,

He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph Nichols and Althea Mae Blackman Nichols, brother Phillip Wayne Nichols and other family members.
