Slidell Woman Indicted for Cruelty to Persons with Infirmities

District Attorney Collin Sims reports that on August 21, 2024, a St. Tammany Parish grand jury indicted 77-year-old Sharon Lambert of Slidell for three counts of Cruelty to persons with infirmities.  

The case involves alleged mistreatment or neglect of three disabled adults.  

An indictment is merely a charge and the guilt of the defendant must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

Detective Kathy Yevcinez with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office headed the investigation.  Assistant District Attorney Jay Adair presented the case to the grand jury.
