Kenneth Romel Bullock

August 10, 1966 - August 1, 2024

Philippians 1:21 “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain”, on August 1, 2024, a golden heart stopped beating.

On August 10, 1966, Kenneth Romel Bullock, known to most as Frankie P, was born to the late Mr. Frank Parnell and the late Ms. Lucille Bullock.

Growing up, Kenneth attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Tom Bailey Jr. He would later join the Wesley Ray United Methodist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Terrance August, where he was an active and faithful member in the adult choir, male chorus, young adult Sunday School class, and Steward, until his health began to decline. He loved the Lord and his family and it showed in his spiritual walk.

Ken graduated from Bogalusa High School 1985. He would continue his education for a brief time at Pearl River Jr. College, Poplarville, Mississippi.  He decided to enter the workforce. For thirty years, he would enter the doors at the Bogalusa Wal-Mart. He was known as Mr. Wal-Mart. Customers looked forward to coming in the store just to talk to him or see his infectious smile.  Ken had a personality that you couldn’t help but to love and he was loved by all. 

In 2009, Kenneth was joined in holy matrimony to the light of his eye, Ursula Jefferson. Their love was a true fairytale. God would bless this union with two children, and a bonus son; that he would love like he was his own. 

Ken leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife and soulmate, Ursula Bullock; five sons: Romerro Morris, Rumeall Morris, Rondarious Morris, Jaylan Jefferson, and Kenneth Bullock Jr.; two daughters: Ashley (Justin) Watson, and LaKendra Bullock; two brothers: Kevin Bullock and Marcus Bullock; one sister: Tona Brown; Mother-in- law; Linda Jefferson; Four brothers-in-law: Oscar Jr (Shauntel) Gerard, Kendyardy Jefferson and Melvin Nichols, one aunt: Sylvia Truvillion and one uncle: Dudley Bullock. A host of nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, cousins, and friends.

His address had to change. Oh what a welcome committee he had. He was welcomed with open arms by Mother, Lucille Bullock; Father, Frank Parnell; Grandmother, Nurcille “Honey” Bullock; Uncle Larry Bullock; Father-in-law, Oscar Jefferson, Sr.; two brothers-in-law, Christopher Jefferson and Chancellor Jefferson.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 9:00AM - 11:00AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00AM at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church. Interment - Jefferson Cemetery.
