Carrie Mae Morgan Griffin
August 23, 1929 - August 21, 2024
Carrie Mae Morgan Griffin, age 94, passed away at River Chase Village in Gautier, MS, Wednesday, August 21, 2024. Mrs. Griffin was born and raised in Bogalusa, LA, and a graduate of Bogalusa High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bogalusa, and was active in church until her health begin declining, but she continued to served her God faithfully and unwavering from her home.
She is survived by two sons: Alan Griffin (Trudy) and David Griffin; one granddaughter: Christa Turner; three great-grandchildren: Laken Turner, Dayton Turner, and Sam Turner; and a magnitude of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 70 years: Mr. Hoyle Griffin; her parents: Asa and Carrie Morgan; and several brothers and sisters.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home proudly serves the Griffin family. Friday, August 23, 2024, visitation will begin in the funeral home chapel at 11AM until time of service at 2PM. Bro. Jimmy Byrd will officiate services. Interment will immediately follow at Ponemah.
