The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office reported Thursday (August 15, 2024) the arrests on August 7, 2024 of four persons at an Abita Springs-area home. STPSO's Proactive Enforcement Unit arrived at a residence in the 70000 block of Fuschia Street near Abita Springs in an attempt to locate Adrian Adels, wanted on two outstanding arrest warrants related to resisting an officer and six attachments related to traffic offenses, drug possession, assault, trespassing and theft.
At the residence, detectives made contact with an adult female, BreeAnne Trombka; and a 13-year-old juvenile. Adels was ultimately located inside the home. Detectives also developed information leading them to believe illegal narcotics were inside the residence and a search warrant was obtained.
Inside the home, detectives located and seized 11.5 grams of methamphetamine, 6.5 Gabapentin, illegal THC products, approximately 5 grams of marijuana, and an assortment of drug paraphernalia associated with the use and distribution of illegal drugs.
While conducting their search, two other individuals, Kristy Bush and Jonathan Long, arrived at the residence.
The juvenile was released into the custody of a family member and DCFS was notified.
Arrested were
- 34-year-old Adrian Adels of Covington for Resisting an Officer (3 counts), Attempted Simple Criminal Damage, Contempt of court (5 counts), and Failure to Appear. He was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail
- 43-year-old Kristy Bush of Abita Springs for Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule I CDS (marijuana), Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule II CDS (meth), Distribution of Schedule III, Possession of Drug paraphernalia, Possession of a Legend Drug, and Possession of CDS in presence of Juvenile. She was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail.
- 23-year-old BreeAnne Trombka of Abita Springs was issued a summons for Possession of Schedule I (marijuana/THC products) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
- 36-year-old Jonathan Long of Abita Springs was issued a summons for Possession of Schedule I (marijuana/THC products) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
