1. Post-Tropical Cyclone Beryl is hardly worth mentioning, now mainly a rain event with 2 to 4 inches expected across portions of the southern Great Lakes into central and northern New York and northern New England today into tonight. Beryl is located about 140 miles southwest of Detroit Michigan moving northwest at 20 MPH with maximum sustained winds at 30 MPH.
2. Off the Southeastern U.S. Coast: A broad trough of low pressure is located off the southeastern U.S. Coast. Environmental conditions appear only marginally favorable for some additional development of this system over the next couple of days before it moves inland over the southeastern U.S. by this weekend. Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent and formation chance through 7 days...low...10 percent.
