Stolen Vehicles (Worth Over $300,000) Located at Goodbee-area Storage Facility

Warrants have been issued for the arrest of 29 year-old Tyler Stewart, a Madisonville-area man, after stolen vehicles were located at a storage facility in the Goodbee area.

Early Saturday (July 13, 2024) morning deputies with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s 3rd Patrol District were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle located near a storage facility in the 73000 block of Highway 1077. Responding deputies located several high-end vehicles parked at the facility, and STPSO Property Crimes detectives were called in to investigate and four vehicles, with a total worth of more than $300,000, were recovered.

All of the vehicles had been reported stolen out of Houston area, and the VIN plates on the vehicles had been switched or altered. Approximately 12 and a half pounds of marijuana and a small amount of Adderall were located inside one of the vehicles. STPSO Property Crimes detectives traced the stolen vehicles back to Madisonville-area resident, Tyler Stewart. 

Warrants have been issued for the arrest of Stewart on four counts of Possession of Stolen Vehicles Over 25,000 and one count each of Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
