Eva "Lynn" Walley
April 13, 1944 - July 4, 2024
Eva Lynn Walley, age 80, passed away July 4, 2024, at Lakeview Regional Hospital in Covington, LA.
She is survived by two sons: Christopher (Becky) Walley of Bogalusa, LA, and Jason (Maxine) Walley of Montgomery, AL; four grandsons: Christopher Walley, Jr. of Chester, TX, Justin (David) Strickland of Kentwood, LA, Ben (Michaela) Walley of Bogalusa, LA, and Cooper Walley of Montgomery, AL; one step-grandson: Stephen Howard of Montgomery, AL; two great-granddaughters: Haidyn Walley and Oakley Walley; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her fur babies: “Romeo” and “Beaux”.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years: James H. Walley; parents: Jake and Beatrice M. Reid; two sisters: Betty Smith and Nell Alford; and one brother: James Reid, Sr.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements. Visitation will be Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 10AM until time of service at 11AM at St. Matthews Episcopal Church Parish Hall. Deacon Louis Ogle and Rev. Donnie Smith will officiate services.
