Mary Pauline Maynor

June 11, 1941 - June 8, 2024

Mary Pauline Maynor, age 82 and a resident of Franklinton, passed away Saturday morning June 8, 2024 at her home, just short of her 83rd birthday, having been born on June 11, 1941 in Poplarville, Mississippi, . Pauline was an active member of First United Pentecostal Church of Franklinton. She worked for several years doing housekeeping for those in need and also provided child care to several families. Pauline enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. She always liked to try new recipes, especially of the Mexican food variety, and would share them with her daughters and her church family. Pauline also enjoyed crocheting and embroidering.

Survived by: Husband of 39 years: Clarence Maynor of Franklinton; 3 Daughters and Sons in law: Sheila and Ricardo Flores, Cindy and Ray Woods all of Silver City, NM, Sheril and Joseph Romero of Lone Tree, CO; Son: Joe Kendall of Safford, AZ; 10 Grandchildren and Spouses: Daniel Sanriquez, Melissa Sanriquez, Amanda Salaiz, Angela and Taun Loi, Bobby and Amber Rivera, Jason and Kristy Woods, Veronica Rodriguez, Heather and Adrian Edison, Thomas Kendall, Kenny Kendall; Also numerous great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild; 3 Step-children and Spouses: Allen and Patricia Maynor of Colorado Springs, CO, Kimberly Traylor of Varnado, Norma Grace and Tommy Weathers of Jacksonville, TX; 5 Step-grandchildren and Spouses: David and Jacenta Maynor, Ashley Maynor, Larry and Mandy Weathers, Ben Weathers, Hannah Traylor; Also numerous step-great-grandchildren; Sister: Virginia Newman; Nephews and a Niece: Eric Newman, Brent Newman, Rebecca Coates and their families

She as preceded in death by her first husband and father to her children Keiford Kendall, parents Herbert Odom and Velma Bell and other family members.

Visitation will be at First United Pentecostal Church of Franklinton (1214 17th Ave., Franklinton) on Wednesday June 12th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the church at 2:00 pm Wednesday with Rev. John Mark Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in the Tyson Cemetery.
