She is survived by her extended family, Stewart and Tara LeBlanc, Charlie and Sawyer LeBlanc, who she referred to as “My Boys”, Jim and Linda LeBlanc with whom she lived with 2 years following the loss of her sight and hip surgery. Mildred is survived by multiple cousins.

Preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Eva Nettles Day and sister, Catherine Tucker Day (Edwin L. Bobby, Jr.).

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 9-11 at Tangipahoa Methodist Church in the Village of Tangipahoa. Funeral Services begin at 11:00AM with Rev. Dr. Michael Townsend officiating. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood, LA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lighthouse for the Blind.
