Miyika Na'Quira Williams

July 1, 2000 - May 8, 2024

Miyika Williams was born on July 1, 2000 to Juanita “Sonya” Magee and the late Demielle “Donald Wayne” Williams. She departed this life on May 8, 2024 at the home of her parents.

Miyika graduated from Pine High School in May of 2018 and later graduated with a degree in Culinary Arts. She worked as the office manager for Dependable Bail Bonding until her health began to fail.

Miyika joined St. John Temple C.O.G.I.C. where she remained a faithful member until God chose to give her an eternal resting place in Paradise.

Miyika was given many nick names by those who loved her “Phat” was the 1st name she was given from her daddy. She later was given names like Choc, Pretty Black, Chocolate Drop, Bulldog and even Thugga Thugga.

Miyika’s sweet memories will be cherished by her parents, Juanita “Sonya” and Shawn Magee; two sisters, Briana Williams and Cadrian Magee; two brothers, Jaheim Williams and De’Shawn Magee; one furry child, Zoe Rena; maternal grandparents, Lynn and Brenda Conerly; great grandmothers, Gussie Lee Robetson, Walkene Conerly, Freddie Mae Williams; Godparents, Faye Brock, Michael and Crystal Magee; four special uncles, Antoine(Julia) Conerly, Vernon Lowe, Malik Conerly and Brian Burris; three special aunts, Wanda (Chip) Dawson, Sherika (Antoino) Peters and Ella Rose Bickham; special cousins, La Tonyette Wilson, Asontaye Bickham, Shanae, Davonna and Anjuane Williams, D’Black Anderson, Roikeem Abron, and Chris Mingo; great uncles, Van and Richard Williams; two talking buddies, Shanika Handy and Bernice Tate; in her mind she was the mother of Jaheim and Malik; four God brothers, B.J. Averyon, Akeleis, Kaceyon; three God sisters, Ayani, Alexis and Ayryn; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Miyika was preceded in death by her father, Demielle Williams; grandfathers, Lovester McCant and Marvin Lowe; Godfather, Percy Brock; grandmother, Dorothy Williams; cousin, Jawalski Wiley; uncles, William and Johnny Ray Robertsons, Lester Robertson; great great grandparents, Holis and Silas Johnson, Floyd Robertson and Travis Conerly; one aunt, Lorraine Robertson.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 10:00AM – 12:00PM followed by funeral service at 12:00PM at Friendship Church of God In Christ with Supt. Esco Burton I – Officiating. Interment - Hayes United Cemetery. 

Crain and Sons Funeral Home – Franklinton are in charge of arrangements.
