District Attorney J. Collin Sims reports that on April 17, 2024, a St. Tammany Parish grand jury indicted Ahmad Hassan Smith, age 33 and of Slidell, on two counts of aggravated rape involving two young girls. The acts occurred between the years 2008 and 2010 in Slidell.
Assistant District Attorney Zachary Popovich presented the case to the grand jury.
