Charles Bryan Adams
May 17, 1967 - April 2, 2024
Charles Bryan Adams, age 56, was born in Bogalusa, LA and was a lifelong resident of Sheridan, LA. He was an active member of Ben’s Ford Baptist Church. Bryan succumbed to his death after a courageous battle with cancer on April 2, 2024. His loving daughter and immediate family surrounded him at his sister's residence, the home of Danette and Kenny Boyet. We are heartbroken that we can no longer share his smile, laughter, and humor, but we are forever grateful he is resting peacefully with his Heavenly Father. Our family was blessed to spend 3 1/2 years of special moments together during his illness. Bryan was a graduate of Pine High School where he was a member of the Pine Raider football team. He worked for Asplundh as a supervisor for 30 years. Bryan enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching his precious daughter with her love of dancing and was so proud of her many accomplishments.
Surrounded by his family, he entered the pearly gates of heaven, greeted by his parents, Chess and Eleanor Adams, brother Jeff Adams, two infant brothers, maternal-grandparents Henry and Dovie Bedwell, paternal grandparents Kinch and Veola Adams, and sister-in-law Donna Sue Adams.
Bryan leaves behind to cherish his memories, his precious daughter Madeline (Maddie) Reese Adams, siblings and their spouses, Debbie and Karon Breland and family, Cindy and Rickie Branch and family, Pam and Steve Breland and family, Danette and Kenny Boyet and family, Randy Adams and family, and Darian and Hilary Adams and family, a step-daughter (Ana Kate Thomas) along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him dearly—also, special friends Dewayne and Penny Crain and Larry and Jean Jarrell.
Pallbearers will be his nephews, Adam Breland, Kendall Boyet, Chesley Boyet, Barrett Breland, Aaron Branch, Colby Adams, and Trenton Adams. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Adams Creek Hunting Club and his co-workers at Asplundh.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 10 am until 1 pm, with services starting at 1 pm officiated by Bro. Caleb Martin and Bro. Jimmy Byrd. Burial will follow in the Reuben Adams Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests monetary donations be made to the Reuben Adams Cemetery Fund (24525 Reuben Adams Cemetery Rd, Angie, LA)
