Bogalusa Parks, Recreation, & Culture Commission shares the following breakdown of what you can expect for Family Day 2024, which is Saturday (April 27, 2024) from 11am to 4pm:
- All children’s activities will be FREE!
- Non-Profits — giveaway’s, free health screenings and more !
- Churches - games , treats, face painting and more !
- We will have a variety of food and sweet vendors selling their delicious food
- Several craft vendors will be selling their homemade items — so stop by and support them !
- We have a great line up for the stage all day !
- Police & Pals will take place behind Browns Soul Kitchen - they have a HUGE obstacle course they will be racing children through
- Train with a Firemen is happening in the grass area near the swings .. they have a man made obstacle course and a SMOKE HOUSE !!!
- Train pick up will be near Blueberry Circle
- Bogalusa Soccer Club will be in the grass area playing soccer games with the children !
We want to give a HUGE shoutout to Bogalusa High School JROTC for volunteering to help us! Without their help this event would not be possible!
