Suspect Sought in Hwy. 10 Icebox Convenience Store Burglary Near Bogalusa

The Washington Parish Sheriff's Office has advised that in the early hours of Monday (January 8, 2024), a burglary occurred at the Hwy. 10 Icebox Convenience Store just outside of Bogalusa.

Around 12:23 AM, a small 4-door sedan, possibly silver in color, was seen near the west side of the store. A suspect, identified as a black male, was dropped off by this vehicle. He then proceeded to break into the store using a pry bar to force open the door. Once inside, the suspect made several trips in and out of the store, ultimately stealing two full cases of cigarettes.

The suspect swiftly left the scene in the silver sedan, heading towards Bogalusa.
