Peggy Ann Bates

November 1, 1944 - January 14, 2024

Peggy Ann Bates, born in and a lifelong resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away on Sunday morning at Our Lady of The Angels Hospital in Bogalusa, LA at the age of 79. She was a hair stylist in Bogalusa, La for many years.

Survivors include her son, Todd Bates of Bogalusa, LA; 2 stepsons, David Bates of Houma, LA, and Robert Bates of Houston, TX; 3 grandchildren, Haley Whiteside, Morgan (John Roy) Mullett, and Michael (Kayla) Bates; 2 sisters, Judy Brumfield of Franklinton, La and Mary Mizell of Bogalusa, LA. Also survived numerous great grandchildren, other relatives, and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Curtis Bates; mother, Geraldine Reynolds; father, Lavern Holden.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
