Theresa Denise Pittman

February 23, 1962 - December 17, 2023

Theresa Denise Pittman, age 61 and a resident of the Enon Community, passed away Sunday morning December 17, 2023 at her home. She was born February 23, 1962 and grew up in Covington. Denise had moved with her family to Enon 20 years ago and she was the owner/operator of A&G Quick Shop in Enon for 15 years. Denise enjoyed going out dancing and bowling. She loved spending time on the Bogue Chitto River, camping and riding 4-wheelers. Denise liked to collect different types of Coca-Cola memorabilia and display it in her home. She was very proud of her sons for the men they have become and she adored her grandchildren.

Survived by: 2 Sons and a Daughter in law: Peter Gonsoulin, II, Nicholes and Tori Gonsoulin; Grandchildren: Onna’Ley Gonsoulin-Amacker, Cylas Gonsoulin-Amacker; Mother: Margaret “Mikey” Galloway Amacker; Sister and Brother in law: Debra and Malcolm Haley; Brother and Sister in law: Darol D. and Karen Amacker; Nephews and Nieces: Malcolm Haley Jr., Matthew Haley, Jessica O’Keefe, Dirk Amacker, Lorad Amacker, Sarah Amacker; Also numerous extended family members and friends

She was preceded in death by husbands Peter Gonsoulin, Gary Pittman, father Darol E. Amacker and other family members.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton) on Saturday December 23rd from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Saturday with Rev. Chris Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington.
