Keitha Casanova Burris

September 3, 1928 - December 28, 2023

Keitha Casanova Burris, age 95 and a resident of Franklinton, died Thursday, December 28, 2023, at her residence. She was a former member of Sunlight Baptist Church, now a member of First Baptist Church. She worked for Burris Brothers, Register of Voters, WFCG Radio and Council on Aging. She loved to cook and watch cooking shows. She enjoyed spending time with her family and reminiscing about the good old days. She also had a passion for her animals as well as any strays in the neighborhood.

Survived by: Daughter: Kim Burris of Franklinton; 2 Sons and a daughter in law: Nathan Kevin Burris of Lee Road, Richard Mark and Monika Marie Burris of Kingston, GA; Grandchildren and spouses: Rachel B. and Craig Seippel, Dustin and Nicole G. Burris, Darin and Austin Burris, Douglas and Brittany J. Burris Brandon and Katherine Burris; Great grandchildren: Casen Seippel, Cade Seippel, Joshua Burris, Sydney Burris, Sadie Burris, Kayden Burris, Nash Burris

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Nathan “Bobby” Burris, her parents Thomas A. Casanova, Sr. and Viola Wallace Casanova, a brother Thomas A. Casanova, Jr. and daughter in law Melanie Burris.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Sunday, December 31, 2023, from 12:00 pm until 2 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Sunday with Rev. Joey Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunlight Baptist Church Cemetery.
