Carlos Wayne McCree, Jr.

April 16, 1978 - November 19, 2023

On Sunday November 19, 2023, Carlos Wayne McCree, Jr. transitioned from this life to eternity. He was born on April 16, 1978, to Ethel “Sis” Holmes and Carlos Harris. Carlos graduated from Bogalusa High School. Carlos was a jack of all trades, whether it was roofing for Smith & Sons, running errands, landscaping, working on the garbage truck, working at Lacombe hospital or doing other various jobs.

Junior loved Reggae music and the Philadelphia Eagles, most of all he loved his Family. Junior never met a stranger. He had a bigger-than-life personality. Junior lived his life on his own terms and thrived on changes.

He leaves to cherish his memories mother, Ethel “Sis” Holmes; his Father, Carlos Harris; fiancé, Patricia Swindle, son, Desean Crumedy of Bogalusa, La.; daughter, Caidence McCree of Bogalusa, La.; three sisters, Tornishia (Chad) Brumfield of Slidell, La., Beatrice McCree of Sandy Hook, Mississippi, and Twyla Harris of Bogalusa, La.; one brother, Twan Crawford of Bogalusa, La.; He is survived by his children who he loved and adored as his own, Arielle Swindle, Brett Grubbs, Jr. Ariyanna Grubbs, Gabriunna Grubbs, and Gabriel Lowery and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 9:30AM - 11:00AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00AM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Linda Holmes - Officiating. 

Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa are in charge of arrangements.
