Jenella Harvey Burris

July 19, 1940 - December 2, 2023

Mrs. Jenella Harvey Burris was born July 19, 1940, to the late Robert “Mike” James and Christine Harvey. She departed for glory on Saturday, December 2, 2023.

She united with Bethel Church of Christ Holiness at a young age and remained a loyal servant until Her departure. 

Jenella, a mother of four generations, leaves to cherish her loving memories, her six children, Renia Broussard of Marksville, LA, LaBronis Woods of Lafayette, LA, Carlton (Cynthia) Burris of Lake Charles, LA, Michelle (Elundus) Richard of Garland, TX, Jennifer Burris of Dallas, TX, and James (Shannon) Burris of Forney, TX. She also leaves her seventeen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren to carry on her loving legacy; two siblings, Lenora Young and Vivian James of Franklinton, LA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Departing life before her we honor the memories of her husband, Conston Burris; her parents, Robert James and Christine Harvey; one sister, Ophelia Aaron; two brothers, Roosevelt James and Earnest James; one son-in-law, Russell Woods; and one grandson, Kristen Burris.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 9:00AM - 11:00AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00AM at Bethel Church of Christ Holiness USA with Elder Alvin Partman - Pastor Officiating. Interment - Bethel Cemetery.
