The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office announces the arrest of a Ponchatoula resident in connection with child pornography.
Sheriff Daniel Edwards says on December 9, 2023, Detectives arrested 73 year-old Robert Pepitone of Ponchatoula after a search warrant led to the finding of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13.
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office would like to thank the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit for their assistance in this investigation, and for their work in child exploitation cases.
Pepitone remains in the Tangipahoa Parish Jail where he was charged with (4) counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles.
