Kenneth Ray Temples

May 11, 1954 - November 28, 2023

Kenneth Ray Temples, age 69 and a resident of Pine, passed away Tuesday November 28, 2023 at Our Lady of The Angels Hospital in Bogalusa surrounded by his family and loved ones. He worked as a heavy equipment operator at TXI for many years and was a longtime member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. Kenneth loved being outside working and doing tractor work around his property. He enjoyed making good hog’s head cheese and cooking cracklins. Kenneth always enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survived by: Wife of 51 years: Joanne Stewart Temples; Son and Daughter in law: Kendall and Tessa Temples; Grandchildren and Spouses: Jonathan and Arianna Temples, Abby and Mikey Seal, Austin and Carrie Temples, Madeline Temples, Meagan and Jake Boyd, Katlyn and Daniel Miley, Kara Thomas Magee; Great-grandchildren: Anna Grace Temples, Jesse Temples, Jett Temples, Braylen Seal, Lillian Seal, Waylon Temples, Magnolia Temples, Sadie Boyd, Baylor Boyd, Jaxon Magee, Rebecca Magee; Sisters in law and Brothers in law: Patsy Temples, Jimmy and Joyce Stewart, Anita and Gary Garner; Also numerous nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his son Kenneth Jamie Temples, parents Johnny Temples and Azzie Lee Dykes Temples. Brother Johnny Ray Temples, sister Janice Temples, father in law and mother in law Marvin and Bertie Von Stewart.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Thursday November 30th from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 pm Thursday with Eld. Darren Uzell officiating. Burial will follow in the Harmony Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
