Disturbance 1. Tropical Storm Sean is located about 1315 miles east of the northern Leeward Islands and is expected to weaken over the weekend. Sean is moving WNW at 8 MPH with 40 MPH maximum sustained winds. There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
Disturbance 2. Eastern Tropical Atlantic (AL94): An area of low pressure is located several hundred miles southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands and has become more concentrated, and better organized during the past several hours. Environmental conditions are becoming more conducive for further development, and a tropical depression is likely to form within the next couple of days while the system moves westward or west-northwestward across the central and western tropical Atlantic. Formation chance through 48 hours...high...70 percent and formation chance through 7 days...high...90 percent.
